Watching only takes you so far. These are the UK organisations running men's work in the room — initiatory weekends, ongoing circles, nature-based retreats. Dates move, so each one links straight to the organiser's own calendar.

WeekendManKind Project UK & Ireland
New Warrior Training Adventure
The best-known initiatory men's weekend in the UK. Small groups, no phones, deep work on accountability, shadow and purpose, with optional follow-on I-Groups afterwards.
Several weekends a year — see site for next confirmed dates
Peer-led circles that meet regularly for check-ins and structured emotional work. The most practical entry point if a full weekend feels like too much too soon.
Rites-of-passage weekends and long-term mentoring for young men aged 18–25, many of them in or leaving the criminal justice system. Also recruits and trains volunteer mentors.
Structured work on anger, shame and relational patterns from the creator whose talks already sit in the WISR library. Good if you want a curriculum rather than a one-off weekend.
Meditation-led men's retreats under canvas. Quieter and more contemplative than initiatory weekends — closer to the Stoic end of the curriculum than the shadow-work end.
Wilderness rites of passage, solo time and council in the Bill Plotkin lineage. Best suited to men mid-transition who want space rather than instruction.
WISR isn't affiliated with any of these organisations and takes no commission. Listings are reviewed by hand every so often — always confirm dates, cost and suitability with the organiser before booking. Know something that belongs here? It can be added.
