But for this father and son, it is a new beginning. By sharing his own darkest moment, a father shows his son that even when life feels unbearable, things can and do get better. Men’s mental health is an issue that has touched our lives and the lives of those around us, and we have always felt a responsibility to use our craft in service of something bigger than ourselves. When we discovered the work HeadsUpGuys was doing, we knew immediately that this was a message worth amplifying. We approached this film not as an advertisement, but as a story that could make a difference — one that could spark conversation, remind men they do not have to face struggle alone, and show that things can and do get better. Every person involved gave their time and talent because they believed in the purpose behind it.
